Pastelaria Tavirense

Wonderful and tasty traditional cakes. One of my references when visiting Tavira. Nice and welcoming staff, very helpful and knowledgeable about the produces.

Great coffee/cake shop in the center of Tavira. The cakes are prepared daily with fresh ingredients. There is a wide choice of small cakes or larger one to share. The coffee is very good and strong. Thanks to a good and professional coffee set up. There is few table outside to watch people go by. This seems to be open on most days. I can highly recommend.

Our favourite cafe, and the locals and visitors alike seem to agree as this place seems busy all day long. Equally good for a coffee and a pastry, as a toasted sandwich and a drink at lunch etc. Their pastries are always super fresh and varied.

First meal in portugal and we stumbled upon this gem. Chargrilled squid, seafood and rice was superb. Tuna steak look amazing too. Was a nice solid lunch. Worth a visit.

We tried most of the pastelarias in Tavira and this was the best. Good selection of pastries and cakes, good service, fab coffee. Ham and cheese was our favourite savoury, and a choc and custard our favourite sweet. Very reasonably priced and very popular with the locals too.

Popped in for a quick coffee. Place is spotlessy clean. Ended up having 3 delicious samosas and a cappuccino that was actually hot. Very near hotel so will be back.

We love this Pastelaria. Good food cheerful staff. Lively atmosphere.

Delicious, fresh food at a surprisingly good price

Really nice, it's rare to find a place who write cleary ALL of the price (especially for cofee, yes it should be 0.60 for a simple one) and don't overcharged tourist.
